What changes by parish, and what does not
The grant is the part that moves. It reaches some parishes and not others, the program runs in rounds, and the eligible list changes from one round to the next. The badges below reflect the eligible-parish list as of .
The two payoffs do not move. Louisiana's mandated wind insurance discount and the state FORTIFIED roof tax credit apply statewide, in every parish, whether or not the grant reaches you. A parish marked outside the grant area is not a parish where a FORTIFIED roof stops paying for itself.
Eligibility is settled at the address level, not the parish level. The official map is the only word on whether a specific home qualifies right now, so check your address on the live LDI Fortify Homes map before you count on the grant.
